What does time-sensitive mean on Snapchat?
Apple introduced a new update on Snapchat after the launch of iOS 15 which is a “time-sensitive” notification. The simple meaning of this feature is only to show us the necessary notifications even if we have turned on DND mode.
This update is for you if you are annoyed by getting a lot of Snapchat notifications that are not too important. This is the most used feature by Snapchatters.
Let’s say you are in a situation where you have to turn on do not disturb mode. But at that time someone needs your help so according to the interaction with the user Snapchat gives priority to the notification. You can see notifications on your lock screen even after turning on DND and only stays for 1 hour. This is what time-sensitive means on Snapchat.

- Tap on settings and navigate to notifications.
- Tap on “Snapchat” by scrolling down.
- Turn it off by tapping on time-sensitive notifications.
To wrap it up it only works for iOS users but not for the androids. Android users have to do it manually from the notification settings.
